Block interval

Avg minutes between blocks — Average minutes between blocks (target 10)

What it shows

Block interval measures how the Bitcoin network is being used: Avg minutes between blocks. It turns blocks, transactions and output data into a time series of network activity.

How to read it

Compare the current level with the recent baseline and with fee conditions. Broad, persistent growth is more meaningful for adoption than a short-lived operational spike.

Good to know

Network counts can be affected by batching, consolidation and changes in wallet software. More transactions or addresses do not map one-for-one to more users.
